Lisa Crossman
Lisa is an enthusiastic biologist and bioinformatician working at the intersection of genomics, bioinformatics and programming! Previously based at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge and prior to that in the labs on the Norwich Research Park, she has been able to experience the two worlds of biology and computing. Now freelancing, she uses Python, R and Rust in workflows to study DNA sequences. Beyond research, she enjoys organising outreach projects such as coding for kids with Raspberry Pi, running and looking after guinea pigs.
