Any sponsor talk clears the same bar as every other talk on the schedule: it has to teach the room something. That rule is why the afternoon sessions stay full, and it is the single thing we are least willing to trade.
Sponsors get a stand in the exhibition hall, where the coffee is, so conversations happen because someone wanted to have one.
