Rust Nation UK is a single day conference for people who write Rust, run by Copia Events. The fifth one is on Thursday 18 February 2027, at a venue in the City of London that opened its doors this year.

A conference for working engineers, put together by people who write Rust for a living.
Rust Nation UK has run four times since 2023 and 2027 is the fifth. It exists to give the people writing Rust in this country somewhere to meet each other, once a year, in person. Four hundred Rustaceans attended last year.
Anyone is welcome, whether you are a professional, a hobbyist, a manager, or just starting out. Talks are chosen on what they teach rather than who submitted them, and every talk is recorded and published afterwards, so three tracks running at once never costs you the one you missed.
We operate a code of conduct and we ask everyone to read it before they come. It is short, and it is enforced.
Doors at 08:00, on stage from 09:00, and the day ends at 17:15, followed by the conference social. 18 session slots across 3 tracks, plus 2 keynotes. The talk by talk running order goes up once the call for papers closes.

New for 2027
A brand new venue, two minutes from Moorgate
Rust Nation UK moves to 1 Basinghall Avenue, a Cavendish venue in the City of London that only opened this year. We are among the first conferences to use it.
Everything happens on one floor: the three tracks, the exhibition hall and the catering. You will not spend the day working out which lift to take.

Getting there
Moorgate is a two minute walk and Bank is five. Liverpool Street and Cannon Street are both close, and the Elizabeth line puts Heathrow and the west of the city within one change.
The space
Three auditoria, Forum 1, 2 and 3, which is where the three tracks run. They can also be combined into one room, which is what the keynotes use. Catering is prepared on site rather than trucked in, and the AV is run by the venue’s own technical team, which is the difference between a talk starting on time and a talk starting once someone finds an adapter.

Come to the next one
Early bird tickets for 18 February 2027 are on sale now, and they are a set number. Join the mailing list for the call for papers and the workshop day. If you would rather be on stage than in the audience, the call for papers is where that starts.
The bit people actually remember.
When the closing keynote finishes, the day carries on. A conference where everyone leaves the moment the talks stop is a worse conference, so there is always something afterwards.
